BattleLore is a strategy board wargame for two players, created by Richard Borg and initially published by Days of Wonder in and later by Fantasy Flight Games. BattleLore debuted at the Spiel game fair in Essen, Germany and was released worldwide on November 30 of that year. Typical setup for a game is 10—15 minutes. Beginning players can expect a minute duration game, but experienced players can usually finish a game in about 30—45 minutes. Each player has a set of quick reference cards to help him keep rules in mind. Experienced players will rarely have to pull out the rulebook for clarification.

This file has changes on several of the goblin lore cards: Cruel Hex Fan the Flames Hordes, Charge Piercing Retaliation Slaughter Dark Courage These changes were either wording clarification or changes made because of changes to units. These cards are made to use the plastic and thematic concepts from the Goblins and Dwarves of Battlelore 1st Edition in Battlelore 2nd Edition.

I've been working on them for about 2 years now on and off, and both factions are in a pretty good state of balance right now in my play sessions. However, the Goblins have had more work done on them than the Dwarves, so I may yet end up making significant changes to the Dwarves down the road. It should be fairly obvious what plastic to use with which units, but I'll leave an explanatory comment below once the submission is approved.

As another note, if you saw my previous versions of Goblins, then note that significant changes were made to 5 of the 9 units for this factions since my last update. The reason for this was mostly to promote various synergies, but there were also some balance changes made. A few other changes were made just to make units play more dynamically. I have not included any "half scenarios" with these units.

Instead, I've opted to make whole scenarios. The reason for this is that I want to get more creative with the scenarios, and it's a lot easier to do this when you have the whole map to work with.

Plus, the half scenarios lead to a lot of imbalanced matches if your scenario counters the other scenario, so I just didn't make those. I'll be uploading whole scenarios in a week or so after I've had the chance to put some finishing touches on them.

For now, just look at the scenario builder on the FFG site to find other people's stuff and use that for now. People have made some really great stuff on there! One more note: I apologize for the bad unit art on some of the cards.

I was trying to use as much 1st edition art as I could. I may go back and use better on art on these later. I hope you enjoy these! They fit cards sleeved with kmc perfect fits, or equal. Deployment cards box fits cards sleeved with premium sleeves.

Now that I have made some revisions and done more play-testing, I'm more confident in the Goblin's state of balance. I hope you enjoy it! Please let me know if you find any errors in terms of balance or typos.
