Walter Benjamin decidio terminar con las sombras por medio del suicidio.
Paul Schreber se quedo atrapado en ellas irremediablemente, agradeciendo el amor de su Dios personal. Uno de esos libros que muestran el verdadero horror.
I strongly oppose the Ideology and beliefs of Dr Scherber, which he bizarrely tried on his young son in order to make him more strong, more discipline and more obedient. Such acts in the society are highly redeemed. The acts of his father let his son diseased from paranoid schizophrenia at an age of 42 and his beliefs took him over around the mentality of God as his father and Rays and light as his words and action.
Here we can see such low and retarded paradoxical concepts that people think and I strongly oppose the Ideology and beliefs of Dr Scherber, which he bizarrely tried on his young son in order to make him more strong, more discipline and more obedient.
Here we can see such low and retarded paradoxical concepts that people think and act. This Idea can directly relate to different part of the worlds Since I am from India, I saw many families acting just like this and trying to control the independent thinking of infant in order to make him more obedient.
Here we can see a curious case of epistemological shamanic ecstasy. Feb 23, Hallal rated it it was amazing. Thorough, original research into the writing and child rearing practices of Daniel Schreber's father, contextualizing Schreber's psychosis in a way in which I haven't come upon in other texts. What of his father? While psychologists usually focus on the patient alone, Schatzman turns to look at his childhood. Son of an eminent pedagogue , his father's numerous works on bringing up children although highly este "Schreber was labelled insane, and would be today.
Son of an eminent pedagogue , his father's numerous works on bringing up children although highly esteemed at the time are quite horrifying to the modern reader. From various contraptions to force the child to stand or sleep in a 'correct' position to compelling his offspring from earliest infancy to subjugate his every whim to that which was deemed permissible by his parent.
And yet - and this is the crux of the matter - the child was not to go off and brood dark, vengeful thoughts against the parent: "Any 'spite', 'bitterness' or 'anger' the child feels towards his punisher must be repressed. Also to see Schatzman's conclusion that his father's works had an impact on Nazi thinking later on.
It's mystifying that Schreber senior's works had such import when not only did one son go mad, but the other committed suicide. Feb 21, Erika rated it it was amazing Shelves: psychology. The author makes a strong point of questioning the idea that all paranoid claims are merely delusions or projections based on repressed unacceptable desires. Well researched and straightforward, it is in my opinion a recommended read for those interested in the etiology of psychosis or schizophrenia, as it is referred to in the text and the role that family dynamics and society play in the development of pathological behavior.
An unsung masterpiece on the process by which childhood trauma can be expressed symbolically in the form of "spiritual" revelations and delusions. Good into to the writings and life of Daniel Paul Schreber " God himself was on my side in his fight against me".
