Canon T80 instruction manual (reprint)

Does the Canon T80 have a manual exposure setting? I am a college student taking a film photography class, and so of course we need a film camera. I have a Canon T50, and my professor said that it wouldn't work for the class because there's no manual exposure settings. I've been trying to find a camera that takes AA batteries, not mercury ones, and that also has manual exposure. This was one of the cheapest that I could find that doesn't use illegal batteries, but I wasn't able to find any website that said that the exposure can be adjusted manually.

Does the Canon T80 have a manual exposure setting?

The Canon T80 is Canon 's first autofocus 35mm single-lens reflex camera. Instead, three special lenses, designated AC , were produced for the camera. Other FD-mount lenses can also be used, but without autofocus capabilities. The autofocus system in the T80 works in the same manner as the focus assist system built into the earlier AL A linear CCD is used to detect contrast in the focus area.
